I am Kathy Jenkins. My home is in Athol, Idaho, where I raised my family. But I was mostly raised in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, where my father was a pastor. He lived what he preached, so it was an amazingly consistent and loving upbringing.
Around 2015/16, in preparation for a ladies’ gathering from church, I made filled-cookies using a canning jar ring. The design idea for the StampOut tools came to me at that time. At the same time, the LORD gave me the vision for what the monies could be used for if I produced them and sold them. I was only vaguely aware of the human trafficking problem. But it was abundantly clear to me that helping to rescue and heal victims was the race God had now set before me. For about 2 years I researched and designed the tools with the help of my son, Loren, who was studying engineering. In 2018 my husband committed finances to have an injection mold made and have our first 1,000 sets manufactured.
I then researched and settled on 3 ministries to give my profits to Helping Captives is locally ministering in Spokane, Washington. The other 2 are overseas. “When the Saints” works in Malawi. C and M work through the Commission to Every Nation in Indonesia. I find all 3 ministries to be faithful and honest workers for the tough job of rescuing and helping to heal victims of human trafficking.
